Tactical Tree and Land is committed to a website every visitor can use, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification and other assistive technology.

Standards we build to

This website is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA — the standard referenced both by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and by U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidance for accessible websites.

What that means in practice

• Every image carries descriptive alternative text, including all one hundred before-and-after illustrations.
• All pages can be navigated by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link.
• Text and background colours meet or exceed AA contrast ratios.
• Pages use semantic headings, landmarks and labels for assistive technology, and text can be resized to 200% without loss of content.
• Motion is minimal, and the site respects your reduced-motion system setting.
