On-site mulch & firewood: your trees, your material

Most tree companies charge you twice — once to cut, once to haul away and dump. Where appropriate, we process the wood right on your property instead: brush becomes mulch, trunks become firewood, and the hauling and tipping fees disappear from your bill.

How it works

1. Brush and limbs go straight through the woodchipper into arborist wood chips — the same material garden centres sell — spread on your beds and paths or left in a neat pile where you want it.
2. Trunks and large limbs are bucked to stove length and run through the hydraulic splitter, then stacked for seasoning. A single mature hardwood can yield a substantial share of a winter's firewood.
3. Anything you do not want leaves in the dump trailer. Many customers keep the chips and give up the wood, or the reverse — it is entirely your call.

Why on-site processing saves money

Hauling is expensive because wood is heavy and disposal sites charge by the tonne. Every kilogram we chip onto your gardens or split into your woodshed is a kilogram nobody pays to transport or tip. On removals with good access, processing on site is frequently the difference between a painful quote and a reasonable one — and you end up with material you would otherwise buy.

Turning hazard into value

A dying ash or a storm-cracked maple is a liability standing up and an asset cut and split. Well-seasoned hardwood firewood burns hot and clean; fresh arborist chips suppress weeds, hold soil moisture, and break down into rich soil. Nuisance and hazardous trees are, quite literally, fuel and fertility wearing a disguise.

Prefer a spotless yard?

Complete removal is always on the menu. We chip directly into the dump trailer, load the wood with the tractor, rake and blow the site, and leave nothing behind but the stump you asked us to keep — or not even that, if the backhoe takes it too.
